HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING

Let's pretend that it is before organized religions, we were still hunter/gatherers, America, Israel, Iran, North Korea, Jesus, Muhammed, and anything else that might possibly create wars, just did not yet exist. Would there be peace between MEN and tribes? Could there be a world without wars if all these factors were removed?
We welcome your replies. Thanks in advance. Doc Ruby *o*

HOPE IS A FOUR LETTER WORD

This Memorial Day Weekend, 2010, has made me pensive. Far too many wonderful souls died in the name of warfare. They earned their rest, and paid in blood. Many were heroes and heroines in the true sense of the concept.

I've lived through so many American wars, that it seems like an unending, tragic pattern. Does no one ever learn the lessons of eternal history? Yet, I dare to HOPE! Hope to witness, to know even long after I spiritually join my loved ones in Rainbow..... that PEACE can someday become a lasting, happy thought-form. HOPE is a four letter word.

Speaking to God, Author Unknown to Me *o*

Oh God how I miss my precious mother. This hit a chord. *o*

"In God We Trust"

A Newborn's Conversation with God

A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"

God said, "Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you."

The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy."

God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you.
And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy."

Again the small child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?"

God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."

"And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"

God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."

"Who will protect me?"

God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life."

"But I will always be sad because I will not see YOU anymore."

God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about ME and will teach you the way to come back to ME, even though I will always be next to you."

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."

God said, You will simply call her, "Mom."

Lift a mother's spirit; send this to every mother you know (no matter how old her child is).

Arizona (ID) Senate Bill 1070/House Bill 2162

When laws of this nature get passed in other states, it will be wise to know what is in them. Do you feel President Obama can stop of this law by having it declared "unconstitutional?" ~ Ruby *o*
Identification Requirements
Recent coverage of Arizona Senate Bill 1070 / House Bill 2162, also known as the "Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act," has resulted in a number of questions about what identification residents and visitors need to travel within the Grand Canyon State.
Please note that this law will not be implemented until July 29, 2010, which was 90 days after the closure of the Arizona State Legislative session.
We will update this page as new information becomes available

Pets Have Feelings

These photos show my beloved mother cat, RubyGlow, now in Rainbow, and her baby named Calypso MonAmi, who is all grown and a very big boy. I recently embraced Calypso close to my heart and asked him, "Where's RubyGlow?" He looked all around and a tear fell from his eye. How purely moving to feel his emotions. God Bless The Precious Animals. amen

There have been so many times I experienced the love and acute memory of my pets. I will write more blogs on this subject in the future.

POWER CAN CORRUPT

If this portrays some of the worst in human nature and "dictator/politicians" around the world, please send it to those who would like to see where it came from? Ruby *o*

Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely
Origin

This arose as a quotation by John Emerich Edward Dalberg Acton, first Baron Acton
(1834–1902). The historian and moralist, who was otherwise known simply as Lord Acton, expressed this opinion in a letter to Bishop Mandell Creighton in 1887:

"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men."

Another English politician with no shortage of names - William Pitt, the Elder, The Earl of Chatham and British Prime Minister from 1766 to 1778, is sometimes wrongly attributed as the source.
