IN GOD WE TRUST

Hi MY Dear Beloved GOD,
It’s me again, RubyNorma. We are becoming older and things are getting more and more challenging here. Gas prices are too high, almost no jobs to speak of, and food and heating/cooling costs are way too high. I know some brainwashed and spiritually devoid, utter fools have taken you out of our schools, government and even Christmas and Chanukah etc..., but Dear God......... I'm asking you to
re-bless America. Re-bless all the innocents in harm's way and that includes animals, sea life, the water-ways of our globe, and our ecology.... We really need You! There are far more of us who want You, than those who don't! And please please please.... STOP all Terrorists, no matter where and who they are. YOU know who they are. Thank YOU for helping us. amen

Barack H. Obama ~ Quote of March 2006

Harry and Bess Truman. He originally said,
"THE BUCK STOPS HERE!"

What does this March of 2006 quote below, from Barack Obama, personally mean to you? Thanks in advance for your interesting replies. ~ RubyNorma *o*

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America 's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government can not pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America 's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that 'the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better." -- Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006

REPRINTING ADDICTED TO SPENDING, Let Them Eat Cake

Apparently, since the original date this blog was posted by me, things have actually gotten worse with your failing government's politicians.

I feel sad to have to reprint this for my readers. ~ RubyNorma *o*

ADDICTED TO SPENDING, Let Them Eat Cake

If you do not understand the "LET THEM EAT CAKE" portion of my title, then please look up Marie Antoinette and The French Revolution. As with all known societies, uncontrolled power eventually corrupts those who misuse their power. This is precisely what has come to pass in America with the out of control spending by its citizens. Not only has the public gone out of control with spending, but it government has become addicted to spending. This is the manner in which addiction proceeds in its history. Once addicted it is most rare for addicts to stop on their own.
An inevitable crash is what can and will stop the addict, at least temporarily. Whether the addiction is to spending, gluttonous eating, narcotics/booze....or to gambling, ADDICTS will not stop on their own.
What kind of crash will stop your government from the gluttonous spending on warfare, welfare handouts, bailouts, career politician corruptions, and let us not forget those underpaid CEO's? I am no genius. But, I am old enough to recall when made in America and quality still had a long lost meaning. I am also old enough to recall that our educational system was once admired instead of reviled. Once a government can control minds and pockets, it controls YOU! Once a government can control YOU, it runs rampant over your rights. Once a government controls your rights, it is an ADDICT to power, spending, corruptions, and greed. Please help your government control its addictions? If not, then you fill in the blanks - - - - - -
Comments: = Anonymous said...I once had a job. My multiple college education(s) have no meaning these days in the destroyed job market, since in my field of endeavors America sent our jobs overseas. We pulled our kids from college and lost our home. This article fully explains the depravity going on today in our nation. Our politicians are insane with spending and greed. And yes, they do remind me of Marie Antoinette! Anon and Family in America

Vote the politicians out who have destroyed our economy! In private business when people do not do their jobs correctly, they get fired. American career politicans should not be paid or given lifetime bennies for ruining America. Angry and Disgusted in DC

MOM ~ I LOVE YOU *o*

Each year on my birthday, I love to remember my MOM. Even when grown, I called her "MOMMY Irene." Her life was horrible, filled with the violence and abuse we both longed to forget. She was my best friend, and loved me unconditionally. For this, I remain eternally grateful.

In spite of the harsh home environment, we managed to survive, and today I am an ancient one. In fact, your daughter is one of the oldest persons in our earthly world.

The eons of time have past since my final visit with Mommy Irene. She was in Long Island Jewish Hospital when we last held hands, spoke of the future, and neither one wanted to let go. My baby and I had recently lost my husband. We were too young to lose my precious mother and she was too young to die.

For all the love and attention you gave me in the midst of my father's and both grandmothers' severe abuse, I give my undying respect and love back to you. At the end, you were so brave, My Mommy. God Bless You. Your Loving Daughter, InaNormaRuby. Happy Birthday to Us. Happy Birthday to Us.

Reprinting Albert Einstein Once Said

Sunday, August 22, 2010 www.normasark.blogspot.com/
I have a very special paranormal/spiritual relationship with Albert Einstein. It is time to reprint his truthful quote. In your opinions, why does MAN keep on repeating the same awful mistakes? RubyNorma *o*

Albert Einstein once said,
'The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.'
Does this mean that politicians, governments, rulers, and so many others who keep repeating the same failures/patterns over and over and over again, are = ;) INSANE????
Hmmmmmmmm ~ Ruby *o* ~ p.s. Surely something to ponder.

Comments: = To answer your question, it is mortal egos that prevent us from learning from the historical records. Most professional politicians really know the histories of many errors they choose to repeat. On occasion it is from pure ignorance and stubborness. But mostly, it is the insufferable EGOS!

Indeed this is the truth. anon in MD

Einstein was right. anon in MA

Just look at the horrible things our global governments do over and over again that are repeats of past governments' mistakes. And still, they just do not care. anon in CA

US lawmakers to rally behind Dalai Lama

How do you all feel about HH The Dalai Lama? For a number of years now, I have studied with a close disciple of HH. It has been one of the best and most spiritual adventures of this incarnation. Our current president has so much to learn about spirituality, as we all do. God bless the peace makers. How do you feel about the genocide perpetrated by Communist China on Tibet? Please compare both Nobel Peace Prizes of Obama and HH. Then comment on the blog if you wish.....
Dr. RubyNorma Yanez, Ch.t

US lawmakers to rally behind Dalai Lama
On Friday 8 July 2011, 0:02 SGT
Top US lawmakers plan Thursday to welcome the Dalai Lama in a show of support as China stepped up pressure on President Barack Obama not to hold his own meeting with Tibet's exiled spiritual leader.
Members of the House of Representatives plan to put aside briefly a bitter debate on taming the US debt for talks with the Dalai Lama, a rare figure embraced by both sides of the political spectrum in the United States.
House Speaker John Boehner, the third highest-ranking US official under the Constitution, invited the Dalai Lama to the Capitol. Former speaker Nancy Pelosi, the House leader of Obama's Democratic Party and longtime supporter of the Dalai Lama, will join the talks along with other senior lawmakers.
The White House has tried to keep the question of a meeting with Obama on the back-burner after treatment of the Dalai Lama during his two previous visits to Washington raised hackles both in Congress and China.
The White House has said only that it has no announcement to make on a potential meeting with the Dalai Lama, who is in Washington until the end of next week to lead a Buddhist ritual before thousands of devotees.
China warned the United States against a meeting. Foreign ministry spokesman Hong Lei said: "We are firmly against the Dalai Lama engaging in activities aimed at splitting the motherland through overseas visits."
"We are firmly opposed to foreign governments or any political figures supporting and encouraging such activities," Hong told reporters in Beijing.
Beijing accuses the Dalai Lama, who fled China's rule of his homeland in 1959, of pursuing separatism.
The Dalai Lama, a follower of India's apostle of non-violence Mahatma Gandhi, says he accepts Chinese rule and is seeking greater rights for Tibetans. He recently said he was retiring from his political role, even though the Nobel Peace laureate remains the clear face of Tibet.
Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, a Republican who heads the House Foreign Affairs Committee, has urged Obama to see the Dalai Lama. She criticized the White House for obliging the Dalai Lama to use a back entrance during his last visit in 2010, walking past garbage bags and snow.
"I would strongly encourage the president to pay the proper respect that this leader deserves, and that sad escort out the back door was shameful. He deserves better treatment than that," she said at a hearing last month.
During the visit last year, Obama met with the Dalai Lama away from the cameras in the private residence. In 2009, Obama came under fire from Congress for not meeting at all with the Dalai Lama when the monk visited Washington, with the president hoping not to sour the mood before his first trip to China.
Maria Otero, the US under secretary of state for democracy and global affairs who serves as the coordinator on Tibet policy, met with the Dalai Lama after his arrival in Washington on Tuesday.
The State Department said Otero told the Dalai Lama of the "strong US support for the preservation of Tibet's unique religious, cultural and linguistic identity and the protection of human rights in the People's Republic of China."
Otero also "commended the Dalai Lama for his commitment to peace and non-violence and the pursuit of dialogue with the Chinese government," a State Department statement said.
The State Department in its latest annual report described "severe cultural and religious repression" in Tibet along with China's predominantly Muslim northwestern region of Xinjiang.
Rights groups this year reported a major crackdown on Kirti monastery in Sichuan province after an anti-government protest. The International Campaign for Tibet said police rounded up hundreds of monks and that two elderly Tibetan lay people who tried to protest the monastery died after police beatings.

IN HEAVEN, OR IN HELL?

Content excerpted from my book, "Angels In My Chicken Soup."

The human concepts of heaven and hell = good and evil, go back many thousands of years. Some attribute these ideas to religions.

I do not. Instead, I attribute these ideas way further back in time to when we, as a species, began more logical thinking about things like death, accidents, illnesses, giving birth to a live or dead baby, and the elements of nature. Life, at its best, was so hard that if we were to time-travel back to hunting and gathering cave life, we would not get through one full day..

Infant mortality must have been excruciatingly high. When a baby lived, it was glorious for the tribe because it meant the survival of life for the tribe. When food was scarce or non-existent, it was like hell because of the suffering/starvation. When safe shelter, food and water were plentiful, it was like heaven for the moment. The predators ate man, woman, child, babies like sushi.

MAN really does not know exactly what happens to us when we cease to exist in our physical, mortal bodies. The Ancient Egyptians believed we were judged by our behaviors and hearts against the feather, for all eternity. But is it that simple?

Why not ponder this? Perhaps we are judged BOTH for heaven and hell depending upon how spiritually good or no good we have behaved? Perhaps we can be in both heaven and hell part time? No one is 100% in all things good or evil. Even Repulsive Hitler seemed to love his dogs and.... the most callous and evil of humans on occasion cares for something?

Given these thoughts, I am certain we are going to receive many replies. Please remember that this is a very well-loved, global blog. Keep your answers clean enough to be respectfully printed.

Yes, the Casey Anthony trial has caused me and many others to ponder much about heaven and hell. Has it done the same for you?

WHO SPEAKS FOR BABY CAYLEE ANTHONY?

Are you shocked, surprised, happy, disgusted with our American judicial system? The trial of Casey Anthony, accused as having killed her two year old baby Caylee, is one more example of the decline and fall of American justice. And yet.......
O. J. Simpson, who I call "O. J. SYMPTOM" and Joran Vander Sloot, are now experiencing
LIFE'S JUDICIAL SYSTEMS.
Perhaps , Michael Jackson did as well?

Who speaks the truth for the victims? I look at adorable Caylee, and would gladly have raised her to save a precious young life. It is not about justice. It's only about winning any way you can in America. The grandparents are ruined. The biological mother, Casey Anthony is - - - - - - - - - - - - - ?????????????????? We shall be watching you

Casey Anthony.
Rest In Peace Sweet Caylee. Know that I love you with all my heart.

MY AMERICA~A PERSONAL REMEMBRANCE~ Part One

Do I remember America with happiness? A longing in me to recall the better, simpler, easier, safer times in this land, is growing by leaps and bounds. With joy and belonging , I still had living parents and a very large extended family. We always lived near enough to visit often and party for all celebrations together. It's the together part that still mystifies me with a smile. I could ride my Schwinn bright red bicycle in total safety from morning to night and come home, without being attacked or kidnapped by some kind of predator, to an unlocked door. YES, I said an unlocked door. No one locked their door. That came a bit later. I will close PART ONE one on a happy note.

Comment: = OH MY GOD RUBY, yes we remember.Your pals in Brooklyn, NY

Reprinting = IN WAR AND PEACE I NEVER CEASE, LONGING FOR YOU!

IN WAR AND PEACE, I NEVER CEASE, LONGING FOR YOU
By Dr. RubyNorma Yanez

Recalling so many lives past, I never ceased longing for YOU.
At times I was devilish, or perhaps as meek and fragile as a kitten,
But always in my soul is the knowledge that if not for YOU, I would not exist.

With knifing fears and terrors of the material journey, and the joys of bliss
YOU carry me forward. YOUR names are different to others. GOD, Almighty MIND, Goddess, Christ, Krishna, Buddha, etc…. All intone a sacred energy.

We fight wars in YOUR name(s), destroying the precious innocents.
We conquer, maim, level into crushed black ashes what YOU created. And then beat our breasts in glee for we have won! What have we won? In the eons of our past, we fought wars as well. Did we learn? Did we lose? Did we win?
In war and peace, I never cease, longing for YOU.

Comments: = This poem is absolutely wonderful. It states everything I have felt for much of my own life in the military. Thank you Dr. Yanez. You touched my soul. anon in the military

Comments: = Thank you and God Bless You for saying what I believe. Why do we still have wars? anon in The Vatican
