REPRINTING America's Free Lunch May Be Over
This blog from my past writings appears to be very timely for a reprinting right now! Who would have believed the changes that have taken place in America in a few short decades of out of control spending habits????

The last time I had a free lunch was in my beloved mom's tummy. ;) The years of entitlements we see in America can be a double-edged sword making able-bodied people lazy.
I have joined globally with many tens of thousands who are praying for this beleaguered land to once again prosper and create home-grown jobs and far better education. I make my own free lunches these days.... as should everyone who has the ability to work to support themselves. Nor do I expect to see any retirement in this incarnation. It is unhealthy spiritually to waste a life on the dole...

Well worth the reprint. Since you wrote this the first time, America has further slid itself into corruption, astronomical debts, and has lost its world standing as a nation to be respected. We are mostly a paper tiger now. It seems like all we do is engage in unwinable warfare, and giving out the dole, still sending American jobs to other nations, and if anything, each president is worse than the last one. Of course we should include into this mess the career politicians, and the business giants who are so expert at stealing the tax-payers blind.
I have been down-sized from a company that gives the big-wigs mega-millions in salaries. Yes, the tax-payers did bail out this company and the money rapidly went to higher pay for corrupted greed.
This insane behavior can only end the life of our once great nation.
