FACE OF JOY

What is more heartwarming than to see a face filled with joy? Above is Mary, a friend who seems more beautiful as the years pass.
The little girl with bright red, curly locks posing as an angel is my sister Hannah. I feel joy seeing this long ago picture of an innocent child believing she became an angel by wearing this costume our MOM lovingly made for her. She is on the family comfy chair we all used to love to sit in.  I shall never forget that chair or the pretty angel child posing for the camera.

This is the beautiful baby girl who is my daughter.  She is posing in front of that same chair which was re-upholstered after so many years of active use.  Just look at that face of happiness.

This wonderful baby is my grandson who I call Chinito.  He is filled with fun, mischief, and will be a joyous handful for his parents to raise.

And this is me around two +, filled with joy after being taken home for the first time after two life and death tortured years, living in the hospital due to birth injuries.  Any time I find life to be harsh and difficult to handle, I bow and pray/meditate/chant.  Then I look at the faces of joy and smile for their happiness.  I hope you enjoy this token of smiles.

Sincerely and With Love,
Dr. RubyNorma Yanez, CH.t *o*

ASKING GOD

Dear God,
Today I am writing to you as your child. As YOU well know, many of my loved ones have gone home to YOU.  Recently, there has been a rash of deaths.  YOU know who they are.  Some suffered greatly before crossing over and some were without any warning at all.  Please, hold them to YOUR ETERNAL LOVE and gently caress them for me?  Gail, you no longer have to be in a wheelchair.  Egypt, you are young and kitten-like now without Cancer.  Gayla, you did not have to suffer and went rapidly to Heavenly Rainbow.  And so many others who I deeply care about that this little blog would not accommodate the names.  Suffice it to say, GOD in HIS HER, ITS Inscrutable Wisdom, knows my heart.  Yes, YOU see me weeping.  I cannot seem to help it.  And yet for those who no longer suffer, I rejoice in their being set free.  One day when YOU call me, I will rejoice again in knowing that I too can be with them.  Until then, YOU have given me an emotional mission to fulfill.  I work every day to save animals in distress and danger of being gassed in the KILL SHELTERS.  They have no voice.  I love them all. amen

NELSON MANDELA

"I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear." ~ Nelson Mandela. Rest in peace, Madiba.

True greatness! RIP Nelson Mandela. I love you. *o*
